Decentralised scheduling lets each robot negotiate right-of-way locally while a cloud layer assigns zones, shifts and priorities. This scales far better than a single central controller when robots pass through elevators and doorways.
Zones matter as much as routes. Assigning a scrubber to a defined zone during a defined window avoids the classic failure mode of two machines cleaning the same aisle twice while missing another.
Reporting closes the loop: coverage heatmaps show exactly which zones were completed and which were blocked, so exceptions get resolved the next day.
